The
Pinnacle facility currently boasts a state of the art computer
lab with DSL hook-up to the Internet. The computer lab provides
a variety of support services for the overall Pinnacle program.
Students being individually tutored can access the Internet to
complete research projects and supplement their class notes and
texts. S.A.T. Prep groups utilize web sites that are relevant
to Math and English performance. Besides being used as a resource
to all students at Pinnacle, the computer lab is also utilized
for specialized computer classes for children and adults.
Children's Computer Classes: Special computer classes
are periodically offered at Pinnacle aimed at skill enhancement
and enrichment for children. Often offered on Saturday mornings,
these classes usually involve a commitment of six sessions during
which students become acquainted with specific software and its'
application to potential school projects. Familiarization with
hardware/software, comfort with computer usage, and having fun
with trying new things are all benefits of these classes.
Adult Computer Classes: Pinnacle offer short-term
computer classes for the adult learner to gain familiarity with
both computers in general and with specific software applications.
Instruction is usually offered in small groups for 1-3 sessions.

Individual Computer Tutoring: Pinnacle offers students
of all ages the opportunity to reserve individual tutoring sessions
with a qualified instructor in order to learn specific components
of a software package or to pursue areas of individual interest.
These individual tutoring sessions can be reserved by simply calling
Pinnacle for the availability of the next computer instructor.
Business/Corporate Training: Pinnacle and its computer
consultants can assist your business in training your employees.
Whether it's training employees in new or customized software
or just upgrading computer skills in general, our computer instructors
can assist your company. Instruction can be offered at the Pinnacle
Learning Center facility or at your site.
