The Point/Insurance Reduction Program is a six-hour classroom course which includes presentations, discussions and video supplementation. Any licensed driver who completes the course will be entitled to have up to 4 points reduced from their total number of violation points on their NYS driving record.

Note: The Department of Motor Vehicles holds points against the driver for 18 months starting from the violation. The New York Safety Program course reduces up to 4 points for violations occurring within 18 months prior to course completion date.

Any individual listed as the primary operator on their New York State automobile insurance policy can receive a 10% discount on collision, liability and no-fault premiums each year for a full three years. (Note: you cannot receive both point reduction and the discount simultaneously.)

Courses are offered once a month at Pinnacle Learning Center, usually on Saturdays. Registration and payment is required prior to class. Class size is limited.

CORPORATE/BUSINESS INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Ask us about discounts we give for Corporate/Business
group instruction in Defensive Driving. If your business has a
minimum of 20 participants we will give a discount or group
rate to either host the course at our center or we can provide instruction directly at your place of business. Some employers offer the course through our center as a benefit to their employees. Contact Pinnacle Learning Center and we well assist you in setting up a program for your business.
