TUTORIAL
SERVICES: Pinnacle Learning Center provides support and
tutorial services to students who are having academic difficulties.
This service is implemented by evaluating the student's current
academic achievement through reviewing school records, homework
and test performance. Consultations with parents and the classroom
teachers are essential components of this process. Once a student's
academic profile has been compiled, a recommendation is made to
the student and parents in regards to an academic intervention
program. Upon agreement, a tutor is assigned and remediation begins.
The tutor acts as a case manager and communicates as needed with
parents and the classroom teacher. Remediation of specific problem
areas allows the student to join more demanding programs at Pinnacle
such as Regents Review Courses, S.A.T. Preparatory Courses, & 4th
/ 8th ELA & Math Prep.
ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS: Pinnacle Learning Center offers
academic enrichment services for students who are currently performing
on or above grade level expectations. Expanding on an individual
student's strengths reinforces motivation and basic skill levels
along with ensuring future academic success. Enrichment programs
are offered in all curriculum areas and students often will join
Pinnacle's Regents Review Courses, SAT Preparatory Courses, and 4th
/ 8th Grade ELA / Math Prep. Pinnacle welcomes
students associated with the John Hopkins Talented Youth Program.

How Do We Get Started?
Contact The Pinnacle Learning Center for a free, no obligation
consultation for you and your child with an associate of the Center.
During this consultation, you will be able to ask questions about
the program, have a tour of the Center itself and review portfolios
of potential tutors.
Should your child meet the admission criteria of the Center and
you would like to proceed further, an academic evaluation is scheduled
if needed.
Once
the evaluation is completed, an academic plan is outlined and,
with parent's approval, a tutor is assigned. In a short period
of time, your child can start receiving the benefits of personal
attention and begin moving toward academic success.
